QR MENU FOR YOUR VENUE
QR menu for restaurants, cafés and bars
A guest scans the code on the table and sees a live menu with prices in three languages. Changing a price is one action in the admin panel, not a reprint of every folder.
- Menu in three languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English
- Prices update instantly — no reprinting
- Dish photos and ingredient descriptions
- Guests can add to their table order — the server approves it
- Pre-order a business lunch before arriving
What a paper menu actually costs
Do the honest arithmetic: number of copies, cost per copy (paper, lamination, ink) and how many times a year you change the menu. A venue with 50 copies at 300 UAH each and four menu changes a year spends 60,000 UAH — ten months of the most expensive plan. But direct cost is not the biggest part. What costs more is the week or two between deciding to raise a price and that price reaching the guest: ordering the print run, waiting for delivery. All that time you sell at the old price. With a QR menu a price change reaches the guest in a second. A seasonal item can be pulled mid-afternoon instead of waiting for the next print.
One QR code per venue, not one per table
We deliberately use one code per venue: the guest picks their own table from a list. That way you never print and re-stick labels when you rearrange furniture, and a leaked table code cannot be used to order in someone else’s name. When a guest is on site and picks a table, the order reaches the server as an add-on request. The server sees a blue banner with Accept and Decline. Until it is accepted the kitchen does not see the order at all. That delay is intentional. Toast and ChoiceQR do the same thing for the same reason: without staff confirmation an open QR becomes a channel for fake orders.
Spam protection is built in
An open ordering channel with no limits is an invitation to pranksters. So Stolik enforces limits: at most two pending orders per guest and three per table, automatic expiry after 20 minutes, and rate limiting per IP address. Guests sign in with Google or Telegram — this is not an anonymous stream. The device is remembered, so a regular does not sign in every visit. The owner gets a Telegram notification for each new order showing the guest name, the table and the items.

FAQ
Does the guest need to install an app?
No. The QR code opens a normal web page in the phone browser. Nothing to install.
Which language does a foreign guest see?
The guest switches language themselves — Ukrainian, Russian and English are available. Dish names and descriptions are maintained in all three in the admin panel, with an auto-translate button for quick filling.
Can I show the menu without letting guests order?
Yes. The public menu page is open without login — guests see dishes, prices, ingredients, plus the venue address and phone. Ordering requires sign-in and is always confirmed by a server.
