- Orders in a few taps, no running to the kitchen
- Kitchen display: the cook sees orders instantly, with a timer
- QR menu at the table: guests order themselves, even at peak hours
- Shift report lands in the owner’s Telegram automatically (from the Business plan)
- 15 days or 200 orders free, no card required
Why paper notes cost a café money
A typical 30-seat coffee shop handles 80 to 200 orders per shift. Each passes through at least three pairs of hands: the server writes it, the cook reads it, the cashier totals it. Information leaks at every handoff: wrong portion, forgotten add-on, discount never applied. Then count the time. A server walking to the kitchen with a paper slip spends 15–25 seconds per order. Across a 120-order shift that is nearly a full hour during which nobody is working the floor. And the most expensive moment is Friday night. Exactly when revenue peaks, the paper system breaks first: orders get mixed up, guests wait, someone leaves without paying. One mixed-up table costs more than the bill: it costs a guest who never returns.
How the Stolik register works in a coffee shop
The server opens the tablet, picks a table on the floor plan and adds items from the menu. Portion size (half, regular or double) changes the price instantly, so the cashier never does mental math and never slips. Preparation options such as milk choice are picked with a tap at no extra charge (from the Business plan). Once confirmed, the order routes itself to the right stations: coffee to the bar, hot food to the kitchen display. The cook and the barista each see only their own items and how long the order has been waiting. One tap marks an item ready, and the server sees it on the floor. Payment is card, cash, or a bill split between guests. Discounts, and from the Business plan tips too, flow into the shift report. The receipt prints on a thermal printer.
Business lunches and banquets without printing menus at night
If your café runs business lunches, the biggest time sink is not cooking. It is composing the weekly menu and printing it. In Stolik a lunch is built per date: soup, side, protein, salad, drink. The guest opens a QR code and picks today’s combination themselves during the lunch window. A banquet keeps it all in one place: guest count and list, menu, deposit, PDF summary. The deposit counts on the day you received it, and on the banquet day the bill covers the balance. No parallel notebook to reconcile against the register at month end. There is a side effect owners notice late: once the lunch menu lives online, the daily printing disappears. That is the saving you can actually count: paper, toner and printer servicing.
What Stolik does not do, and why that is fine for a café
We deliberately do not build a fiscal register (PRRO). If your venue is legally required to fiscalise, a separate certified solution covers that, and Stolik runs alongside it to manage orders, shifts and reporting. There is no full inventory module with recipe cards and gram-level depletion. For a ten-location chain that matters; for a 30-seat coffee shop it is complexity you pay for monthly and nobody maintains. There are no built-in delivery aggregator integrations. If delivery is your main channel, we would rather say so up front: look at the heavier systems. What is here, though, runs from a tablet on the very first evening and needs no system administrator.

FAQ
What does café automation cost?
The Start plan is 199 UAH per month: one room and up to five tables, without Telegram reports, tips or AI. Business is 399 UAH: two rooms, up to 20 tables, Telegram alerts, tips, AI assistant. Premium is 699 UAH: unlimited rooms and tables, up to 3 venues. The first 15 days or 200 orders are free and need no card. There is no separate setup fee.
What hardware do I need?
At minimum, any tablet or laptop with a browser. Stolik installs as a PWA straight from the site, no App Store. A thermal receipt printer is only needed if you print receipts; the kitchen display is an ordinary tablet or monitor.
How long does it take to train a server?
One evening shift. The server interface is a floor plan and a menu, nothing more. The app ships with step-by-step guidance for every role, so a new hire figures it out without you.
What happens to our data if we leave?
Menu, order history and reports export in one click. There is no contract and billing is monthly, so you can stop any time. Database backups run every 6 hours.
